Transistor Sister has been collecting discarded and obsolete electronics to make into jewelry since 1984. Our vast inventory of electronic components includes beautiful ceramic circuit boards bejeweled with microchips, rare and vintage capacitors from the 1940’s, resistors of every kind, and everything in-between. Some of our most beautiful pieces were saved from the precious metal scrap piles that grew large during Silicon Valey’s hey-day during the 1980’s.

We’ve scoured distributions centers up and down the west coast, finding beautiful colors, shapes, patterns, textures, and all kinds of interesting components that were begging to be upcycled into jewelry. Our products have been surprising and delighting customers for 38 years now, and we pride ourselves on our continued innovation and designs. We also pack and ship with recycled and reused packing materials.
